This Privacy Policy explains how CardKive ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the App. CardKive is designed to help users save and organize greeting card details and photos.
Information We Collect
CardKive may allow you to enter and store information about greeting cards, including:
- Sender name
- Date received
- Occasion
- Notes you choose to enter
- Photos of greeting cards that you choose to take or upload
This information is created by you and is used to provide the core functionality of the App.
Camera and Photos
CardKive may request access to your device camera or photos so you can capture and save images of greeting cards. We do not use camera or photo access for advertising, tracking, or unrelated purposes.
How Information Is Stored
CardKive is intended to store your greeting card information and images in the cloud. The App includes cloud sync, account features, backups, analytics, or other online services.
If you uninstall the App or clear the App's data from your device, locally stored information may be deleted but account data and photos may still be stored in the cloud. In the event of re-installation of the app, account and photo data will be resycned.
How We Use Information
Information entered into CardKive is used to:
- Save and display greeting card records
- Organize cards by sender, occasion, date, and notes
- Show saved card photos inside the App
- Allow you to search and view your saved cards
Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not share your greeting card records or photos with third parties unless required by law, necessary to protect our rights, or explicitly enabled by you through a feature such as sharing, backup, export, or cloud sync.
Third-Party Services
The App may use platform services provided by Google Play or your device operating system to install, update, secure, or operate the App. These services may process limited technical information according to their own privacy policies.
If CardKive later adds analytics, crash reporting, advertising, cloud storage, authentication, or other third-party services, this Privacy Policy should be updated before those features are released.
Data Security
We use reasonable measures designed to protect information handled by the App. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, device passcode, backups, and app permissions.
Data Retention and Deletion
Greeting card records and photos stored in the cloud and remain in the cloud even after the app is deleted locally. To delete account or photos stored in the cloud fill out the form found here http://frankfazzino.com/cardkive-delete-data-request.
If you contact us with a privacy request, we will respond within a reasonable period of time.
Children's Privacy
CardKive is not intended for children under 13 and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us so we can review the issue.
Your Choices
You can control App permissions through your device settings. You can deny camera or photo permissions, but some features may not work without those permissions.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
